Baby Seal Stranded on beach in Wildwood Crest

Wildwood Crest, NJ - Sunday, March 2

A baby seal was found stranded on the beach in Wildwood Crest.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center says four were found along the beaches from Long Branch to Wildwood in the last two weeks and that when a seal remains on shore after resting for the night, it usually means they are sick or injured. They would like to remind the public; "if you see a stranded seal on the beach, do not approach it, because they do bite".

Thanks to Darleen and her daughter Madision for taking these beautiful photographs. We wish the little guy a speedy recovery.
